The online radioactive aerosol monitor is suitable for the continuous monitoring of the radioactive aerosol formed by various long-lived nuclides in the air. It can give the activity concentration of α and β radioactive aerosol in the air at the same time. Energy screening method and improved α/β ratio method were used to further eliminate the interference of radon and Th progeny in aerosol samples. Therefore, the monitor has high monitoring sensitivity and can meet the monitoring requirements of radioactive aerosols in high radon and Th environments (concentrations up to 102~104Bq/m3).

Product introduction

The online radioactive aerosol monitor is suitable for the continuous monitoring of the radioactive aerosol formed by various long-lived nuclides in the air. It can give the activity concentration of α and β radioactive aerosol in the air at the same time. Energy screening method and improved α/β ratio method were used to further eliminate the interference of radon and Th progeny in aerosol samples. Therefore, the monitor has high monitoring sensitivity and can meet the monitoring requirements of radioactive aerosols in high radon and Th environments (concentrations up to 102~104Bq/m3).

 

Application area

The online radioactive aerosol monitor is mainly used in the continuous online aerosol measurement of radioactive associated ore collection, smelting and processing, radiochemical analysis laboratory and its exhaust gas outlet, nuclear facilities decommissioning site, nuclear facilities around and other places.

Energy range α : 2.5~8 MeV, β : 80 KeV ~3 MeV;
α detection efficiency: ηα≥ 45% (Pu-239);
α background count: ≤ 0.1 cpm;
β detection efficiency: ηβ≥ 25% (Sr-90);
β background count: ≤ 15 cpm;
Energy resolution: better than 8% (Pu-239);
Measurement range: 0.05 ~ 105Bq/m3 for α; For β, 3 ~ 106Bq/m3;
Sampling flow: 50 ~ 150 L/min;
Filtration efficiency: greater than 99%.
